BEOTH is Beck’s shorthand for a simple question:

It’s a framework for helping people think more clearly, communicate more honestly, and build trust at scale.

“To Be Or Not To Be.”

This 'Orientation Document' is a shared starting point where we can say:

"This is what many of us, at our best, generally agree on right now."

I literally woke up with the idea on January 1st, 2026.

No way was I going to wait until Christmas.

So Christmas in July 25th... Day out of Time it is... so we start a new clock with a shared starting point and begin documenting what we're learning together.

With a two-year delay, we update the record with what we've learned and share new ways humans and AI can navigate together.

A small note:

Filmmaker Jeff Stimmel has been documenting portions of this journey and work since December 2012.

Jeff is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker whose HBO documentary “The Art of Failure: Chuck Connelly Not for Sale” won the Emmy for Outstanding Arts & Culture Programming in 2009. 

Over the years, he continued documenting this project independently because he believed these ideas were worth preserving and exploring more deeply.

The core framework is already being released freely here because I never wanted the ideas behind it hidden behind a paywall.
