From April fools Day 2011 to 2012, James Beck took exactly one year to offer 50 'strategically random' acts of kindness to one family in every state across America.

Out of 50 people served:

• 30 were strangers
• 20 were people I knew
• 5 were friends from college
• 4 were former Biggest Loser contestants
• 3 were friends from high school
• 3 were former love interests
• 2 were friends from Burning Man
• 1 was a family member

1 year - 2000 hrs - 50 people
